Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Jordan

Ms Brind presented her credentials as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Jordan to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 18th August, 2022.

Ms Brind joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1995. She has served in Yemen, Libya, Egypt, Brussels (EU), the US (Washington DC), Iraq and Afghanistan.

Ms Brind received her degree in Modern Languages and History from Cambridge University (Trinity Hall) in 1994. She completed the UK military Higher Command and Staff Course in 2011. She has also worked on secondment to the UK Cabinet Office and to the Department for Exiting the European Union.

Ms Brind is a fluent speaker of French, Italian and Arabic.
